By downloading, installing, or using FAA UPN Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2 Not an official FAA product
FAA UPN Tracker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Federal Aviation Administration or any U.S. government agency. UPN data is sourced from the FAA's publicly accessible website. Always verify information directly at www.faa.gov.
3 No warranty on data accuracy
UPN records displayed in the App are fetched from the FAA website and updated daily but may not reflect real-time information. Users should always verify critical safety information directly with the FAA before making maintenance or airworthiness decisions. We make no warranty regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of any information displayed.
4 Parts Scanner disclaimer
The Parts Scanner feature uses optical character recognition (OCR) to match scanned text against UPN records. This tool is provided as a convenience only and may produce false positives or false negatives. It should not be used as the sole basis for any airworthiness determination and does not replace proper inspection or consultation with an FAA-certified mechanic or inspector.
5 Suspected parts reporting
When you submit a suspected unapproved parts report:
- Your submission is stored securely in our database.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of information you submit.
- The App generates a pre-filled FAA Form 8120-11 for your convenience — it is your responsibility to review and submit this form directly to the FAA.
- We do not forward submissions to the FAA on your behalf.
- Submitting false or misleading information to the FAA may constitute a federal violation.
6 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FAA UPN Tracker and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on UPN data for maintenance or safety decisions.
7 User responsibilities
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to submit false, misleading, or malicious reports.
8 Changes to terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
9 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
